 The eight highest run- scorer in ODI history and second among the Indians, with 11,363 runs.

 In 2001, India - Australia Series, Sourav Ganguly came late for the toss for almost every game.

 Sourav Ganguly was banned for three matches in his career as he was showing dissatisfaction with the Umpire.
