In 2013, Arijit Singh was arrested for assaulting a journalist, when a journalist asked him about the divorce case with his wife.
In 2016, Arijit gave an open letter to Salman Khan on Facebook, requesting him to retain the version of a song‘Jag Ghoomeya’ in the film Sultan, which he thought was recorded by another singer, as Salman Khan thought Arijit insulted him at the 2014 Star Guild Awards function. But later, Arijit deleted that post.
